The International Journal of Higher Education and Innovation (IJHEI) is a peer-reviewed, biannual, open-access journal dedicated to advancing knowledge across diverse educational disciplines. The journal covers topics such as education, physical education, arts, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, commerce and management, languages, library sciences, journalism and mass communication, and more.

Position: Editor Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the editorial process (manuscript review, revision, acceptance).

  • Ensure the quality, accuracy, and relevance of published content.

  • Develop and implement editorial policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with the editorial board, authors, and reviewers.

  • Maintain publication schedules and meet deadlines.

Requirements

  • PhD in a relevant field.

  • Proven experience in editorial work (preferably in academic journals).

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of academic publishing ethics and standards.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience with manuscript management systems (e.g., OJS).

  • Familiarity with citation styles and indexing databases.

  • Understanding of open-access publishing models.
